Thank you for taking a moment to hear my message: My first career choice was to become a Real Estate Professional. In 1986 I got my start -- at the age of 16 -- working in a large Westside office as an Office Administrator. Being an eager and aggressive person, I quickly rose to Office Manager. By 1988, at 18 years of age, I took the leap of faith and became a licensed Realtor.

In my 27-plus-years career, I’ve only worked for a couple of brokerages which, in my line of profession, is unusual. Being self-motivated and self-sufficient at my work, I tend to hang my hat at a company for many years.

By 1993, I decided that I wanted to own my own brokerage and did so, by joint venture, with a mortgage company. For 17 years, I was an independent Broker working with high-net-worth individuals and selling multi-million-dollar properties throughout the Hollywood Hills and surrounding areas.

In 2011 I was invited to join the esteemed John Aaroe Group as an Architectural Agent. This means I have sold a high-dollar volume of properties with a significant pedigree -- which classifies me as a Top Producing Agent ranking in the Top 10 % company-wide for the past three years and ranking within the Top 3% of real estate agents nationwide.

My outlook is simple: I love my career and I love what Real Estate has done for me. Having bought, sold, remodeled, rehabbed, and built new, I find myself in a very unique and powerful position when it comes to representing my clients. I hold the upper hand.

My husband can be very difficult to please & can be demanding. But Ruben's excellence, professionalism & honesty even impressed my husband and ME!! He spotted things in homes that we didn't see and yet found solutions to repair or honest opinions that benefitted us. Rubén is calm, patient & easy going but strong in negations. We are very happy with the purchase of a beautiful condo that our youngest son has made his home! Ruben understood the importance of a safe location but also with fun activity & entertainment with close proximity. We live in Ventura County and we're not familiar with West Hollywood. Incredible Realtor. Smart, Kind & Know his Business We’re writing a letter of commendation for Reuben Pacheco and Wendi Smith-Harris for the incredible job they did in helping us find and purchase our new home. I met Reuben at an open house September, 2011. The house was way over our budget but he inquired about our needs and proceeded to share with us the information about a property that was in the area we liked and was well within our budget. We eventually went into escrow on this property but since it appraised much lower than the asking price we backed out, even though Reuben worked hard to get the seller and the seller’s realtor to accept a more reasonable price. When we didn’t get this property I was pretty disappointed (this is the first house I have personally attempted to purchase a home in California and felt that there wouldn’t be another as desirable). Reuben assured me that there are many more fish in the sea and the search continued. Going forward he had Wendi assist us with the search. We kept her busy!! I called her nearly every day (or she called me) to look or inquire about a property in many different locations. She was ALWAYS professional, kind and reassuring. Both she and Reuben had such positive attitudes we were buoyed instead of weighed down by the process. Two more times we put in offers, one ended in another escrow. This one didn’t work out because of the issues with plumbing, etc. My husband is a contractor and he is pretty picky about the quality of the properties. Never did we feel like a burden to either Reuben or Wendi. They hung in there with us. Now we had been searching for seven months! Finally, we found 1406 N. Benton Way the day after we were out of the second escrow. Both Reuben and Wendi worked hard to get our offer at the top of the list. They worked hard to sell us to the seller and the seller’s realtor. And they were successful! We closed on this property May 4 and moving day is tomorrow. I am so happy to finally get a home that I love in a great area within our budget. We owe all the thanks to Reuben and Wendi. You have two incredible employees. They are smart, kind and know their business. We couldn’t be happier with my experience. You are extremely fortunate to have them on your team. We will recommend both Reuben and Wendi to ANYONE who needs to buy or sell a property. We’re only sorry that we won’t be seeing them on a regular basis – we are going to miss them!! Straight Forward Approach When I made the decision to do a short sale on my condo the first person I called was Reuben Pacheco. After an unsuccessful loan modification through another company a short sale was my only option to avoid foreclosure. Reuben immediately gave me the information I was looking for. After some preliminary evaluation Reuben and his team were confident that a short sale would get approved. Throughout the entire process Reuben was the utmost professional. He always provided me with the information I needed and he did it in a way that made sense and made me feel comfortable. It was a long process and Reuben never wavered in his dedication to selling my property. Even after receiving multiple offers I would drive by and see the property with open house signs. I asked Reuben why, and his response was that you never know what can happen and it’s better to keep showing it to people. This proved vital when the first offer fell through due to the buyer backing out. I have to admit that at that moment I was pretty deflated. Reuben re-assured me that he would have the place ready to show that very next day and within a couple of weeks we had more offers. I remember talking to him on the phone and he said, “This is what we do.” Like it was no big deal. I would recommend Reuben to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
